NEW RUN FOR PLAYERS PENALIZED BY END TIME / Nouvelle course pour les joueurs pénalisés par le end time // RACE 2

Hi all,

Concerning the problem that some of you had yesterday, as they couldn't finish their run because of a problem of "end time", 
I"ve decided to give you another chance to make your time and race.
It's a exceptionnal decision, because of a technical problem, and I - and most of Admins ( Ithank them for their answer to help me) consider we must be reactive and positive about this problem.

We are on a great and serious Competition, it seems too we want to share and give the most of pleasure on our DoS Endurance. This decision gives some justice for these players, and won't have any strong impact about the general results.

The calendar stays complicated for us too, we have only one choice to propose to you as next Thursday.


SO, for all the players in the current list, COME NEXT THURSDAY 19th MARCH ON SERVER 1 AT 21:15  - RACE AT 21:30


FOR PLAY AGAIN YOUR RACE !!


NO WARM-UP !!! 12 laps of course


NO ONE SPECTATOR ALLOWED, except Admins

Salut à tous,

A propos du problème rencontré par certains d'entre vous hier, qui n'ont pas pu finir leur course à cause d'un problème de "end time" de la map,
j'ai décidé de leur donner une nouvelle chance pour faire leur course et leur temps.
C'est une décision exceptionnelle, en réponse à ce problème technique, moi-même et la plupart des Admins (que je remercie pour leur avis et réponse qui m'ont aidé à trancher) considérons que nous devons être réactifs et positifs face à ce problème rencontré.

Nous sommes une grande et sérieuse Compétition, à ce titre notre 1er voeu est de donner une maximum de plaisir sur notre DoS Endurance. Cette décision redonne une justice pour ces joueurs, et n'aura pas d'impact majeur sur les résultats généraux.

Le calendrier n'étant pas simple pour nous, nous n'avons pas d'autre choix à vous proposer que Jeudi prochain.

DONC, pour tous les joueurs cités dans la liste courante, VENEZ JEUDI PROCHAIN 19 MARS SUR LE SERVEUR 1 A 21h15  - COURSE A 21h30

POUR REJOUER VOTRE COURSE !!

Pourquoi procéder comme ca ?
Moi, par exemple, j'ai fini 30 secondes derriere le premier de mon serveur, et là vous donnez une chance à ceux qui ont fini plus d'une minute derriere moi, de ce retrouver classé dans cette course devant moi...

S'il faut rejouer la course, TOUT LE MONDE devrait la rejouer car là, les dés sont pipés...

(Si je devais rejouer cette course, j'ameliorerais mon temps d'au moins 30 secondes)

This is a very difficult situation and I also don`t know a good solution for this. But it is indeed also not fair to the people who finished, because they needed some rounds (more than the 2 WU laps) to discover the best lines. The people who did not finish now have that advantage, because they drove up to 11 laps + WU.

I personally don`t care that much about it, but others will probably do.

Just a guess: Give them a default time (Time of winner of server + Time to end race + Position). Don`t know if that is a good solution though, but even if they could have finished, they would not have been better than Time of winner of server + Time to end race

Ok, for answer to others, we can't start again for all players the race next Thursday, because many of whose who have finished won't be there ... and for our organization, many of Admins are not free this date ...

Of course, if it was possible, my first reflexion would have been to cancel all results and do it again ...

So, as we can't do that, for reasons I've explained just before, as the majority of players have finished their run, and can't be there on thursday, as about 30 players coulnd't finish their own run because this technical problem ( PS : resolved today ^^) ...

we must find a positive and right solution for them ... the only one solution is to make them again their race.

BUT, as they have played yet the map, as a secund chance to make their time on, first, they won't have any warm-up of the map.

In secund time, I agree with you Tom(builder) to work about a default time. We did it before.

We have met 2-3 times problems like this one on old Endurance sessions, from the beginning, and when we've decided to give another chance, we were working about some handicap about final times because of players knew yet the map ... We'll work in the same way.



A last solution is to cancel these results of DAY 2, and to propose a date more of our Endurance Edition ... so, it means to add the date of TUESDAY MAY 5th ...

Anyway, I stay sure that, for respect of players who have finished their run, for respect for players who haven't finished it, we can have here a right solution, as we're going to give no any advantage for this secund chance.

Mais euh, en ce qui me concerne, j'ai fini la map juste avant la fin du finishtimeout.

Et donc celui qui arrive 20 secondes derrière moi par exemple va donc améliorer son temps et me passer devant ???

Même si les joueurs n'ont pas fini la map, le screenshot montre le nombre de cp effectués et le temps mis pour les faire.

Il suffit donc de faire une proportionnalité pour arriver aux 252 Cps.

Il est donc inutile de refaire une course pour ces joueurs là. Comme les temps sont mis dans excel d'après ce que j'ai compris, c'est facile de créer une colonne qui donne le résultat.

FOR THE BEST VALIDATION ON TIME AND ORDER OF PLAYERS we'll give another chance ....

I have ALL the screens of ALL servers (thanks Admins cheriies ^^ and friends who have sent me) ...

OF COURSE, these players haven't finished their run because of to much short time to do it ... I mean that my calcul of results will be like this :

the secund results will give the orders of these players, BUT it will be considered about the results of 1st race's servers (calcul with the 1st time of every relative server), I mean that a secund run CAN'T take the place's order of a time from the 1st race ... they was behind players who have finished, they stay on this way !

Désolé d'insister en terme d'écriture, mais une précision s'impose :

cette course de la 2e chance ne va changer ou s'intercaler dans les 1ers résultats obtenus !
Les joueurs qui ont été pénalisés étaient derrière ceux de leur serveur, et le temps trop court les a privé d'arrivée ...
Ayant tous les screens de tous les serveurs, mon calcul suite à cette 2e course prendra bien sûr en compte l'ordre d'arrivée des joueurs, mais sera relatif aussi aux serveurs (rapport de calcul par rapport au 1er temps de chaque serveur) ... je ne m'étais peut-être pas bien exprimé, mais bien entendu, un joueur qui rejoue demain soir ne peut pas prétendre par exemple à prendre une place dans les 5 premiers de la 1ère course .... nous allons répartir ces derniers résultats à la suite de ceux déjà obtenus.

Merci pour cette précision Mig car dans ce cas et puisque nous serons classés après ceux arrivés avant le finish timeout, les points ayant tous été attribués, il ne sert donc pas a grand chose de re-rouler 30 minutes.
En ce qui me concerne çà ne changera pas grand chose vu la course de merde que j'ai faite .
