Server Laggs

hey Dos,
sry but your servers are bad.
i didn#t say anything last week, but this week its harder then ever!
i can't drive a 'red' time so i can't drive this turnament!
please PLEASE get new servers or change it on more ones!
instead of 6 servers you can run 8 or 10 with less players!

so now i said it^^
maybe other players with the same problem?
maybe i be the one but is just want to say...

Flash, sorry about it, but lags can come from servers or from computer.

I mean, is it only our endurance servers you have it ?
Because servers are tested, and not too much players on (20-25).
Don't you have the same problem if you go on a dirt server which has 30 or more players ?

I just ask you that because, for instance, no many players have lags on servers.

There were some bugs before, but now it's ok.

So, maybe it can be your connection, and sometimes your game's parametrs

Try to make your graphics settings lower, especially shader level, especially for endurance(long maps, many players, lot of records/cp times the server has to send/receive). Also turn off upload/download in advanced settings-->peertopeer, and make the number of cars and detail level of those lower. If it's really bad, turn off opponents entirely with 'o' button. I actually think the servers work quite well this edition, have not had much lag or other problems at least on the servers I've been playing.. Anyway, having 10 servers with 10 players each, well....I fear that the administrative problems that would cause would be larger than any lag problems...
Now I don't have a good connection, 1-2 Mbit dl, and drive with almost full gfx, so I think the problem is not in the server, but that your connection is unstable..
Also, turn off other progs using internet...If you download porn while playing endurance, no wonder the writing become red. Next time maybe also pink lool

You can also ignore players skins in the game settings, giving much too

Switch on the detailed game-statistics while playing ('ß' on german keyboards)
Press the key once and you will see frames and some resource-consumtion details. Press the key again and you will get a full analysis of your current game`s technical details. Press the key a third time to switch this data-displays off.

skopol is right!
have a look on players carskin. every player have another! and every skin have ~5MB so you can think about the space you need to match this

That's why we ask on rules for all players to come with national avatar and national skin ^^.

One more reason : we'll make videos from Endurance replays, so for all cars without national skins, we'll change it by one we want ...

Why not turn it all off from what is unnecessary and click the "O" button ingame... then it run very well.
Not all are server problems...the biggest problem is sitting 30-60 cm away from the monitor

That´s really hard didi. You may use a magnifier glass to stay on the track.

Edit: Disabling every dynamic/custom content in the game, will make the game`s network response faster, that´s a fact.

i see a lot of connection problems around, not only endu but other 'ordinary' servers. There is a game fix out, maybe it helps?
Also, I know many are still playing with version 2.11.11
Update the game to version 2.11.16, some connection issues are improved there(2.11.16 i believe is from 2008 lool, dunno why so many have 2.11.11)

Actually, having read the entire post in tm-forum, I see that there are even newer gameclients also but it's confusing the way Nadeo publish these things...Shouldn't have to browse forums for a couple of hours to find updates loool
my 2.11.16 works fine anyway. Never had problems on endurance server or any other.

Which also could make problems are not open ports in routers...you have to open the tcp and udp ports 2350, 2351 and 3450.

According to what I have read, without patch 2.11.19, you can not come in servers using latest server client(.23 or something), also you will have problems in servers using latest xaseco system, well there was a whole lot more shit tooo, ESL makes it obligatory....
Lucky me on Steam aahhahahaa, I can't apply the patch myself, and Steam says they won't get it from Nadeo before it's been properly tested...Sooo I'm guessing you are the testers loooool
And the patch is...one year old was it? ROFL
